Description
Once a month, Friendship Circle hosts a fun night out on the town. Teens and young adults have the opportunity to practice life skills such as banking, scheduling and keeping appointments, navigating traffic signals, and purchasing merchandise, all while hanging out with their friends. Special outings include shooting hoops, bowling, attending sporting events, and participating in special trips. This program incorporates essential skills for independent living and offers opportunities for involvement in other community outreach programs. Teen volunteers serve as buddies to participants , volunteers must be 12 years of age and older.
